These Terms and Conditions govern the participation of Validators within the BitEgreen Market ecosystem. By signing up or performing validation tasks, you agree to these rules. BitEgreen Market is an initiative assigning value to sustainable actions and reusable/recyclable materials to promote sustainability.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a Validator account or participating in the validation process, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any operational guidelines published by BitEgreen Market Inc. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease all validation activities.
2. Role and Responsibilities of Validators
Validators play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the BitEgreen platform:
- Verification of Transactions: You are responsible for accurately reviewing and verifying the sustainable actions, recycling and reuse data submitted by users and merchants. You must maintain professionalism and integrity in all interactions
- Accuracy and Truthfulness: Validators must ensure all data validated meets the strict environmental and material guidelines set by BitEgreen.
- Conflict of Interest: You must disclose any potential conflicts of interest before validating transactions, and report any discrepancies, fraud, safety concerns, or policy violations immediately.
- Customer Service: Treat customers, suppliers, partners, and fellow team members with respect.
- Protect confidential information obtained during validation activities.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Code of Conduct
Validators must uphold the highest standards of integrity. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:
- Fraudulent Validation: Approving false, duplicate, or unverified recycling/reuse claims.
- Malicious Activity: Attempting to manipulate, hack, or disrupt the BitEgreen application infrastructure.
- Data Privacy Violations: Sharing, selling, or misusing the personal or business data of users you encounter during the validation process.
- Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour.
4. Confidentiality
As a validator, you may gain access to proprietary information, trade secrets, or confidential user data. You agree to keep all such information strictly confidential and shall not disclose it to any third party or use it for any purpose other than performing your validation responsibilities. These confidentiality obligations continue even after the Validator relationship ends.
5. Data Protection
Validators must comply with all applicable privacy and data protection laws and company policies when handling customer or company information.
Personal information shall only be accessed when necessary to complete assigned duties.
6. Compensation
Where applicable:
- Compensation will be paid according to the agreed payment schedule.
- Payment is subject to successful completion and approval of assigned validation work.
- BitEgreen Market Inc. reserves the right to withhold payment for fraudulent or incomplete work following an appropriate review.
- BitEgreen Notes will be redeemed and reconciled by BitEgreen Market Inc. from Validators or Manufacturers in accordance with the payout schedule outlined in your specific partnership agreement for sustainable actions and recyclable or reusable material.
7. Equipment and Resources
Validators are responsible for maintaining any personal equipment required to perform their duties unless otherwise provided by BitEgreen Market.
Company-issued equipment remains the property of BitEgreen Market and must be returned upon request or termination.
8. Intellectual Property
All reports, documentation, photographs, digital records, and other work created while performing validation duties remain the property of BitEgreen Market Inc.
Validators may not reproduce, distribute, or use company materials without written permission.
9. Termination and Suspension
Either party may terminate the merchant agreement within sixty 60 days written notice. BitEgreen reserves the right to suspend or terminate your status as a Validator at any time, with or without cause. Termination may occur with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the violation. Grounds for immediate termination include, but are not limited to:
- Breach of these Terms and Conditions.
- Engaging in fraudulent, illegal, or unethical activities.
Termination does not relieve the Validator/Manufacturer of outstanding obligations.
10. Limitation of Liability
BitEgreen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your participation as a Validator, except where required by applicable law. Validators are responsible for complying with all applicable legal requirements while performing assigned duties. The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
11. Amendments to Terms
BitEgreen reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notice of changes will be provided via the BitEgreen web platform, app, dashboard, or via registered email. Continued participation in the validation process following any updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Barbados. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barbados.
13. Acceptance
By accepting a Validator position or performing validation duties on behalf of BitEgreen Market Inc., the Validator confirms that they:
- Have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
- Agree to comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Accept the responsibilities outlined in this document.
