Ajmal Nazir, a distinguished figure in the realms of technology and telecommunications, currently serves as the co-founder and CEO of Taurus.One, a leading software solutions company specializing in cloud-based software solutions (PaaS and SaaS). Additionally, he is the visionary founder and CEO of Red Touch, a cybersecurity consultancy house. Armed with a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from City University in London, Ajmal has an impressive track record of over 15 years in the telecoms industry, coupled with invaluable experience in large-scale infrastructure and data management during his tenure with an investment bank in London.

Ajmal’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found and build a telecoms company that successfully offered voice, data, and video services in three different markets in the Caribbean. In this venture, he assumed a pivotal role, overseeing market analysis, conducting feasibility studies, developing business plans, financial projections, procurement, rollout management, implementation, and operationalizing the entities. Ajmal’s core expertise lies in technology, and his hands-on approach, spanning configuration, design, implementation, analysis, monitoring, and architecture, reflects his deep technical acumen.

In the realm of cloud services, Ajmal’s experience is unparalleled. Having established and managed multiple data centers across the Caribbean, he is well-versed in the intricacies of running private clouds, including hidden tangible and intangible costs and risks. With a successful transition to hybrid setups and a proven track record of assisting numerous organizations in their move to the cloud, Ajmal brings a wealth of expertise in positioning and evaluating cloud services to ensure they add substantial value to clients.

Ajmal’s proficiency extends into the realm of cybersecurity, where he is both a practitioner and an expert in Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC). Holding prestigious certifications such as CISSP, CISMA, ISO 27001 LI, ISO 27001 LA, COBIT Professional Design and Implementation, Microsoft AZ – 900, and Microsoft AI – 900, Ajmal is well-equipped to navigate the complex landscape of cybersecurity.

In his current capacity, Ajmal has evolved into an influential advisor to boards and executive management teams, providing strategic guidance on digital transformation and technology.
